Introduction by David Bryson, lead trainer

When, in year 2000, I moved from being Buying Director and Acquisitions Director for Thomson Travel Group companies to the other side of the fence, my aim was quite simply to instil in others the attitude and behaviour that I had found to be highly effective in real negotiations. Our training courses are delivered globally for a wide variety of clients organisations. The issue of who exactly is going to deliver negotiation skills training and consulting is critical
It is not possible to deliver this sort of training or consulting effectively by reading a script. Issues arise, questions are asked and genuine examples and anecdotes are required. The trainer/consultant needs to have had relevant and significant commercial experience. So often, large training companies simply don't have this sort of person on their books.
Lead trainer for all programmes is David Bryson, a highly experienced hands-on negotiator. In addition to his extensive commercial experience, David holds a BSc in Economics from the University of London and has studied negotiation pedagogy at Harvard Law School. He is an Associate of Warwick Business School's Executive Programmes and regularly attends and contributes to the main conferences on negotiation around the globe. He writes on negotiation for a major management-education e-learning engine.
David works, as client requirements demand, with four associates - specialists in the fields of persuasion and influence, presentations, personal and team effectiveness and sales.
